MEMORIA, HISTORIA E IDENTIDAD EN CONTEXTOS DE DESINDUSTRIALIZACIÓN. UNA PERSPECTIVA COMPARADA

La conferencia pretende poner en común y ahondar, desde diferentes perspectivas y análisis comparados, las políticas económicas, sociales y las representaciones culturales generadas al calor de la profunda transformación derivada del remozamiento de modos de vida asociados al trabajo industrial. Trata de facilitar el intercambio de conocimiento y la perspectiva comparada de los siguientes temas:

• Creación cultural y signi cados de la desindustrialización
• Narrativas y memorias de la desindustrialización
• Cambio social. El tránsito de una sociedad industrial a una sociedad posindustrial en perspectiva histórica
• Patrimonialización de la (des) industrialización
• De/construcciones de identidad de género en procesos de desindustrialización

MEMORY, HISTORY AND IDENTITY IN CONTEXTS OF DEINDUSTRIALIZATION: A COMPARATIVE PERSPECTIVE

The Conference sets out to enable both the exchange of scholarly ndings and to further deepen our insight through comparative analysis and various perspectives on the subject of discussion: the social and economic politics, as well as the cultural representations which have been generated by the profound transformation originated by the remodeled ways of life related to industrial work. The event aims at facilitating the exchange of expertise and the comparative approaches to the following topics:

• Cultural creation and the meanings of deindustrialization
• Memories and narratives of deindustrialization
• Social change: The transition from industrial to post-industrial societies from a historical perspective
• The customization of the heritage of deindustrialization
• De/constructions of gender identities in deindustrialization processes
